PTFB new website
« on: April 11, 2023, 05:19:19 AM »
It's been long overdue for a more modern website, the old one is way out of date and the parent company has been bought and sold twice and now they stopped software support almost a year ago, after 3 take-your-money-and-run failed "professional" web builders it was time to take matters in my own hands, one of my customers was of great help in getting this up and running.
It may not sound like much to those in the IT or web designing world but for me it was a mountain, Covid brought out the worst, and dealing and paying folks that can't relate cars and passion with text or pictures, I found myself having to correct 70% of their work, of course at first I had to fight to have control of MY site, they don't like that because they can't charge, so 4 months ago I took on the task of learning to build a site myself again, all the while having our busiest Jan. and Feb. in the 19 years I started PTFB.
So here is the new site, I now own 3 domains for it, one of them we are still trying to get pointed in the right direction.

Congrats on the new site. Its a shame, but yes sometimes to get what you want you need to take matters into your own hands. Site looks great!

Thank you Darryl, hopefully by tomorrow the old website domain will have been switched to the new one.

Went to checkout the new site…Just a heads up that wiz is returning an error today…It says:
“Looks like this domain isn't connected to a website yet”

Looking forward to checking it out!

It's complicated, I'm no gurru at this IT stuff but seems neither are IT professionals, we just got back our old domain that I've had for almost 20 years that now works again, however I also have 2 other domains and for some reason those are no longer pointed correctly, working on it though.
FYI the old domain works
