Honeycomb Rims

Today I purchased a really nice set of 15x7 Honeycomb Rims. I plan on using them on my 72 Firebird. They are in great shape with original trim rings and center caps. I was going to use the 17” honeycomb rims from Year One.  These also came with a set of Goodyear Polycast  replica tires from Coker. I was pretty happy to find these and they were really too good to pass up.

Great find, just be cautious about who does the balancing and or tire replacement. Takes the old school whell balance to get them right,
I have a set as well and I cannot find anyone who is good at this yet. Those poly cast are somewhat sensitive.

I was thinking about putting a set of radial tires on it, not sure if I will like the Bias Ply tires. I got time to think about it though.

What's more, they took the time to align the valve stem with lettering on each rim the same.

Great find, I’ve wanted honeycombs since I got my car and have bought two sets that every wheel was bent. So I’ve given up for now, congratulations.

Looks and authenticity are considerations, but based on my experiences the last time I rode on bias-plys, get ready to be shocked at how poor they are.  Radials are leaps and bounds better for handling/stopping and just general driving.
