Plan to Restore This Turbo Trans Am Goes Perfectly
« on: March 04, 2021, 03:31:00 PM »
I've mentioned in the past that I have a soft spot for the '80 and '81 Turbo cars.

This makes me smile.  :D

Very cool Tom.  Congrats on giving a great refresh to a car that served you well, for getting to enjoy the process with your family and for actually using the car when it was done.  Fantastic.

Thanks, everyone!  I was stoked when I happened across this article.   I had written and sent info to Hot Rod earlier this winter but didn't hear anything back.   I just happened to go to HotRod.com the night it was posted...Checking out an article on the GM 8.5" 10" Rear end.  When I got to the bottom of that tech article there was a pic of MY TA at the bottom of the page!   It's 'just' a 'Readers Rides' write-up but still!  My car is in HOTROD[.com]! LOL.

I appreciate the kind words, Thank you.

I love what you did with your Turbo hood where the lights were. I love those gauges. I want to do something liek that with mine. But i still have a turbo car with a 403 in it.
