Hinges

My 74 TA had two of the same lower hinges (White), after looking at some of my leftover parts , they are different than my other Firebird hinges. Before I removed them, the doors opened and closed perfectly with no alignment issues. Some of the aftermarket parts had the same narrower design.
Can someone tell me which one is correct?  White or the red.. or did Pontiac used both?

I had the red ones on my 78, now I have the RingBrother door hinges, but I am not as I thought before I bolt them on.
