LED Motorcycle Clock
« on: January 15, 2025, 02:03:00 PM »
For a Christmas gift for my son, I made him a clock out of a 1979 CX500 front ferring. He really liked the look of the ferring and was supposed to take it home with him, but he forgot it so I did my thing. Of course, I forgot to take final photos but I did manage to remember to make a small video of it in action.

When it is plugged into a power source, and the room lights become dim, the LED lights kick in automatically via a photo sensor switch.

If the power goes out, then the battery backup system kicks it to make sure he never loses time but when on this circuit, the LED system does not operate

He was very happy with it when he opened it up.
