It looks like that would be very efficient at idle. I would be worried about the restriction of airflow at speed. The OEM shroud funnels the air past the
fan blades across the entire radiator. Being flat, I would think it would act more like an air brake. ie. a lot of wind restriction. If you're not racing and looking for
every last bit of HP like I did way back, you may want to rethink this option. Just a thought
