Thanks, I appreciate it! We are very happy to have been in a position to build our house. It was difficult and more expensive than we originally budgeted for, but is everything we wanted.

And yes, I can't wait for things to settle down. I'm in the planning stages of my back porch now haha. Kerry do you do remote jobs??

I was confused by the first paragraph of your post where you said you sold your house. I see now, that was your old house and not this newly constructed one.  The place looks great, congrats, and I wish you and the family all the best with it.

Thanks guys, it feels great to have all the stress of owning/selling/building two homes behind us. Now my main focus is getting some grass seed to take!

Looks great!  but WTF does the inspector care about wall paint?

I know, I thought the same thing. It wasn't the building inspector, but the bank's inspector. Something about it being multiple colors meant the house could be considered incomplete. Bank's are so weird with their rules, but techincally they own it so... I guess I'd do the same thing if I were in their shoes hah
