You know, I think I might want to upgrade to one of those video microscope rigs if I keep this up. 1/64th hand tools are nuts! For reference, the mat grid is 1".

Thanks guys! Spent a couple evenings trying different layouts, the interior space is limited and I was trying to figure out the best way to place things. Tonight I started weathering some of the pieces, long way to go but at least I'm making progress.

These are all cool. As a kid, and a SATB fan, I remember playing with a couple matchbox trans ams I had back then. I loved those yet surprisingly kind of forgot about them until recent. These remind me of those. I have some of my old toys burrier in my basement. I started digging through them looking for my matchbox but realized this was going to be a lot more work than I thought. So for now they’re going to stay buried lol.

Those are all awesome.  Ya, you guys have better vision than me. I had to buy my first reading glasses last week. I think it may be these phones that contribute to it. I have always had amazing vision, now I can't see close or far away. Things started going downhill when I turned 40, I'm 45 now. My 75 father still hikes and works around the yard. I have no idea how older folks do it.

Anyway, I really like the tiny tools and jack. Never seen anything like that.

Luke, I didn’t need glasses until I turned 45. Now at 69, I look back at 45 and think if only I was that young again.

You say the "space is limited", will be just like a real shop  Just start piling stuff up and it will look like mine!

As for vision, I am the youngest of 5. All of my siblings started wearing glasses in grade school. My vision was good until I hit 50 along with a whole list of other ailments  I have eagle eyes, I can read a bumper sticker on a car a mile away, but put a piece of paper in front of me and its nothing but a blurr. Closing in on 60 I find that I need my glasses to get through the day. I can no longer do any kind of detail work without them. Which reminds me, I get them 2 pair at a time, one to carry the other for my desk. Sooki the Mustang driver just ate a pair so I need to make a trip to the dr. for a replacement.

Shhhh, don't say that! I was putting some wrenches in the tool box and one slipped from the tweezers and disappeared. Fortunately it landed on top of my stool but I had quite the time attempting to untangle it from the stitching.

That is cool!!

I had started and then quickly stopped, refurbishing/repainting dicast cars. With me going back to college, there has been very little time to put towards that hobby, but when the college is done, I intend to get back into it.

A buddy of mine is very good at making military diorama's, and it always blows me away the level of detail, time, skill, and effort that goes into them!!

I'm looking forward to seeing more!!

Hallmark had a 77 se Christmas ornament several years ago. I bought one, then right after Christmas they were on sale and I bought several more. I had a small tree that was just Trans Ams and car ornaments. My wife did something with them and I havent seen hide nor hair of them for the last 5 or 6 years!!!

Plugging away at the details. The nice thing about having a plethora of parts to work on is that some can dry while I start on others. Decided the building was entirely too clean looking so I started the first layer of grime, added some weathering and details to the lift. Started to wonder if I could/should add a gold bird to the hood of this Chevy truck, realized it was incredibly dusty.

Working on this trailer, got a little more dust and bare metal/rust work to do before clear coating it.

I also got a few of these printed backgrounds to play with, my thought is to use them as mini backdrops for a wide but shallow shelf in the office, think of a main street sort of scene made up of vignettes.
