Sorry this is so late, but I have a '78, and I don't know what you are referring to as the A/C muffler hoses and shelf bracket...mine is original, so it you still need help, let me know...

Thanks, think the question was part of a pic no longer showing
 All sorted, was trying to confirm it was slightly angled,
i think. I welded the holes up years ago when I converted a 79 hose set, then only recently picked up a used bracket, after selling my mint original, of course. Days later found that they are now reproduced.
 It was just that when drilling the holes out that found the bracket sat at an angle rather than level...I think that's what the question was.
