Did the forum lose a lot of members after the crash?  Seems to not have a lot of contributors like the old days.

I wasn't trying to be negative, it was just an observation.  I do appreciate all the help I have gotten so far.

Me neither.  I post to create content for others so hopefully we can draw more folks in.

Things have slowed down considerably since the crash and data loss. Probably a dozen members contribute on a regular basis. Thanks to those who do their part to keep TAC going!

Sometimes there are seasons to postings. I'm dormant sometimes and just browse others postings and post once in a while. Course, when I start tackling a car project, I'm posting a lot but, I've noticed a drop in posting as well.

I haven't been on here for a while, health, work/life balance is not helping. I hope TAC goes back to the way it was but I agree maybe it's too late...

It worked on my old phone fine, but my on my new one it looks like someone's first website build. Weird.

When photobucket started charging for their service I lost interest in trying to post pictures here, I should have just found one of the other ways but didn’t.
Then the crash made it even less desirable to try and post with a concern that if I did it might be lost.
I need to get over it and post my progress, as I could celebrate with you that I drove my car on the road for the first time in many years last month and have video of it.

Sorry for not contributing more, I do check in here nearly daily to see how everyone is.

I need to just take some time and write up a good post. It is time consuming but I would like to try and contribute to building it back up.

I’m not knocking this forum, just stating a fact, and I know little about forum software but I can say another Firebird forum I belong to has different software and is remarkably easy to post pictures directly into the body of the post. That type of thing may come at a premium though and I understand that. Again, just pointing out a difference.

I check in here every day as well as the aaca forum. The aaca has a worldwide membership and a free forum open to all whether or not you are a member. It is pretty active over there, but like any organization, it seems that about a dozen people contribute 90%. It is what it is. I think TAC is the best firebird forum going as everyone on here seems to be positive and are polite. I will continue my support as  best as I can.  I check in with the py forum about once or twice a week and its def. a different atmosphere. Again, over there if you are regular enough you will notice the same dozen or so people that post every day.

I too used to be on TAC much more before the crash. There was years of valuable information lost for good. I pop in every now and again to see what is going on. It also doesn't help any that I haven't paid much attention to my car since last year. Just recently, I registered my T/A for a popular car show in Ruidoso, NM. This will force me to work on the car and post a little more as well.  8)

It’s a small but very nice crowd here still.  I still check in daily but I’m not as active as my restoration largely finished up 3 years back.  But today I took her out and noticed my rear diff is leaking.  Guess I finally get to do some work on her again - and have a reason to post.
