Does the firewall insulation go in before you bolt in the steering column and pedal mounts? My column and pedal brackets are already in so could I just cut around it or should it be behind it?

Yes, exactly what I have but am now considering just doing the stick down foil matting. I don't think the steering column was meant to go in after as I think it's supposed to be sealed to the firewall.
