3 point rear seatbelts
« on: April 19, 2023, 05:50:25 AM »
Do I remember correctly that before the crash someone here mentioned installing 3 point belts in the back seat of their car? Something I’m considering down the road

Darryl was one, post still exists, if link copied correctly. The GM emblems no longer exist.

Opening the link is weird on my end but I was able to locate the original. Thanks! Not sure why I couldn’t find it before.

EDIT: Well look at that, I even commented in that thread.  :-? I’m an idiot lol

Darryl, if you happen to see this post, we’re those pretty straightforward to install?

They were fairly easy to install.  I’ll dig up my pics or post some new ones later.  That’s correct they no longer license the GM emblems.  Here’s a link to the kit..which worked fine in my 77 TA.

Hey thanks for the pictures. Instructions sound a little confusing but I’m sure if you’re looking at everything it makes more sense.

Yep,  I got a new phone and the forum has been close to unreadable since. I changed the layout and look and it still is the same. My previous phone, 8 year older model, worked fine.

Just an extra, which I think was added somewhere, the reason they called them the 70-73 rear retractors by Morris was that they picked up an extra hole that was there on earlier models. They didn't want people drilling holes or that was counted as not being as direct install. I don't think the years were correct, just what they indicated on their end. The hole doesn't exist on my 78, but like all, it could be added by lining up the bracket with existing anchor point used in parcel tray.

Aus, try have your phone load the forum as a desktop version.  That is the only one I can stand to use on my phone.

Thanks. I couldn't find that option. The links come directly from my own desktop, but changes the layout on here, even had trouble replying. I started a long reply earlier on another topic, hit the wrong button and lost it. It's a mess.

Found the desktop option. Didn't make any difference and tried all the different layouts, just a lousy phone update. Old one was fine.
