Which Wheels
« on: December 23, 2022, 05:58:58 PM »
I'm getting ready to order the wheels and tires for the TA and wondering should I get the Snowflakes in gold or silver? The car is gold so not sure if it needs more of it. IDK. They will be the 15"

I couldn't even find silver snowflakes on a gold TA in a quick google search. Gold was obviously the matching rim. But that gold is also very different, standard gold rims may well not suit it.

That's what I was thinking. If I ordered them in silver and didn't like it I could paint them black?

Its not a TA but a Formula, as my nautilus blue '77. To my opinion as my Formula, snowflakes should be silver .

It's not the Formula in his profile pic. And that only works on the paint and the options, not if it's a TA or Formula, or other. A TA in the same blue as yours would still not have gold rims. And yet there were still Formulas that only came with the gold rims, not the silver, it's unrelated.
And one in custom goldy-orange still ends up with the same question for that reason alone.

Ok thank's, it's a TA. I have somewhere an excel file for all  options, all firebirds for 1977, I will have a look, not listed in my mind but this is so complicated the "official data's in these years in the US. I am a musician, and have a Gibson Les Paul custom 3 pickup black beauty I bought in 1979 brand new, in France (........., I am French), serial N° is from 1976, and internal numbering is from august 1977
