I have been looking for the last 3 years or so for the Tenth Anniversary mailer. Finally bit the dust and picked one up. A bit more money than I wanted to spend. When I started looking a few years ago they were about a quarter the price of what I spent, then last year one popped up for over $800! NOT what I wanted to spend so I passed. Then this one popped up not too long ago, I did not spend 800 but its still worth its weight in gold!!

The way I see it is that you will never lose money. The prices are only going up.

Does anybody know the complete set of glovebox literature that should have originally come with any given Trans Am from 1979? My '79 is somewhat complete, but I know it's missing some stuff. I have the plastic bag that holds it all, the owner's manual, the AM/FM radio manual, the tire warranty, the service/maintenance booklet/fold-out, and I think that's it. What else am I missing that would originally have come with the car? I'd appreciate it with photos, if possible. It's been a minute since I've done an originality parts hunt lol

A buddy of mine that is also restoring a 79 TA put together the literature package for me awhile back. It has the following:
1.Owners manual
2. Radio guide
3. Hideaway spare tire infor (uniroyal)
4. Tire brochure (General Tire)
5. 1979 GM maintenance schedule for gas fueled cars
6. 1979 Pontiac consumer information-all models- pamphlet
7. Warranty Info on 1979 Pontiac New Cars (included within is  Delco battery warranty information)

I have no idea if this is a 'complete' set. I will check with him and let you know. He is a pretty thorough kinda guy and I only assume its everything.

Congratulations Kerry on a nice acquisition of the glove box literature. Especially the TATA fold out, I have not seen this before.
I like how it says "Congratulations you are now the proud owner of a very special trans Am. One of a limited number being built to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our ultimate sports machine".

Nuclear, I have a pretty original 1980 TA, it came with everything Kerry mentioned except the warranty book. It probably got lost. I have posted photos of what I have.

Nuk, check out unitedf-body.com . Burd runs it and he has quite a bit of literature at various times and might have what you want or be able to get it. He got me a full glovebox literature stack for my 77 a few years ago

Funny, I just finished purchasing the last piece I was missing, haha. I got them all for pretty cheap on eBay, since I didn't really care about pristine examples. The literature in my '79 has some wears, so I was fine with less-than-perfect examples. What Kerry and 5th posted is pretty much spot on, the only thing missing is the chemical paint spotting notice, which I was also able to grab. My glovebox is now complete. Lol
