Jay Leno injured in garage fire
« on: November 16, 2022, 04:53:43 PM »

I am kind of surprised this hasn’t been mentioned yet on TAC.  On Monday Jay Leno suffered burn injuries to his face, hands and chest while working on a steam car in his shop. He is being treated at the Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles and said to be in good spirits. I read a report he was going around the hospital passing out cookies to children in the hospital, that’s a good sign. In my opinion Jay is one of the classiest guys around.

Wishing Jay the very best along with a speedy recovery!

Since Jay is no stranger to Firebirds, so I thought I would post a few You Tube links. You might have to watch a brief commercial first.

Last report I saw he was doing well. I didn't really appreciate him as a talk show host but since discovering his car channels on YouTube I've developed an appreciation for him. Definitely comes across as a very classy (but approachable) guy, in every sense of the word.

There are some pictures of his current condition floating around, or at least the condition in which he got out of the hospital.  He doesn't look terribly bad.

I believe he was set on fire by his white steam car.  He has two.

You know he's now putting together some "new" material for upcoming shows. Can't wait.

I'm surprised it actually happened to him especially with that very modern garage with all safeties in place.

Regards, Jack
