Year One 17x9 Honeycomb wheel brake rotor dust caps

What are you guys using for brake rotor dust caps with your Year One 17x9 Honeycomb wheels? The dust caps I have push against the center cap and I can't tighten the wheels without damaging the center cap. Thanks!

I have these wheels, but I haven't put them on the car yet.  I got the plastic chrome center caps that snap into the hole in the center of the wheel.  Is that the same center cap you have?  My dust caps are auto-parts store (maybe Dorman) but, like I said, I haven't tried the wheels on the car yet...I probably should.

I have the factory style center caps that Year One sells with the 17x9 Honeycombs.  The Year One wheels were on the car when I bought it. I'm now going through the car and I'm at the point where I need to take care of this issue. The previous owner took a hammer to the dust caps and flattened them until the dust cap was hitting the spindle. Even then the center cap was pushed away from the wheel a bit so there was a slight gap.

I haven't seen the honeycomb rims or repro caps up close, how do they differ to create problems compared to stock? I also have NOS grease caps in a box if need dimensions, but look almost identical to the Help/Dorman versions I also have.

I thought all dust caps were crushed in from the factory

I bought a Corvette C5 brake kit for the car so I'm avoiding the situation.
