More after market suspension problems
« on: January 29, 2022, 08:48:25 AM »
Here is a post from our FB page, this is a perfect example of what happens when consumers buy things based on pictures and car fashion.

Just received pictures from a customer that removed a well known brand of suspension in favor of our new PTFB 1LE kit because the other kit lowered the car too much and made it undrivable, it looked great sitting at the curb but not a joy to drive.
This car is now enjoyable, get in and drive anywhere, no worries about driveways, curbs, speed bumps and the likes, without sacrificing handling.
Yes it's a Camaro however the suspension is 90% the same and this is showing the pitfalls of form over function.
I also posted a 74SD T/A with the same suspension in another thread.

Well I don't know, computer related stuff is out of my realm, maybe only FB users can see everything.

Alright, I’ll say it, “what’s the spring rate?”

In all seriousness, good stuff.  Glad you were able to help sort this one out.

Any idea what the rim size/tyre diameter on that one is? Stance looks great but seems to have a lot of ground clearance, could also be the bright floor creating half of it.

The rear tires are almost 28" tall and the fronts are about 27"
