I almost turned off during the intro. But stayed tuned anyway. Some interesting cars rotting away in that forrest  I can imagine what a big building with all of those cars restored would look like. A couple of them are worth a re-body if youre into that kind of thing, most of the rest are scrap at this point, such a shame. I am sure someone along the line thought 'these are going to be valuable at some time in the future' and here they sit.

I never understood why people just abandon cars in forests or backyards on dirt. Some very nice cars but most are gone beyond repair/restoration.

Jack, those people are going to 'fix them up someday'. Kinda like the place where I saw the couple of vettes last week. The trailer the guy lived in looked like it should have been condemned years ago, and the place was surrounded by junk cars. Must be 30 or 40 of them. When asked he said NO they arent for sale. They will all sit and rot away. But its his prerogative.
Another way to look at it is that its this guys car collection. Not all shiny and sitting in a huge garage but still a car collection.

How unfortunate...sounds like my stepfather. He has about 15 cars and all rotting into the ground. The three he gets the most offers for is a '56 Nomad, '72 chevy van and an '82 Impala. All turned down time and time again. He says he intends to restore them but he's nearly 80 years old...yeah, not gonna happen.  :???:

Didn't think the 82 impala had that kind of interest but I guess it was the best looking and performing rear wheel drive car of the 80s.
