Cool Christmas Gifts
« on: November 27, 2021, 11:42:24 AM »
Hey gang!

So I was cruising through one of the Start Trek Discord servers and found a company named BlueBrixx in Europe that was making various Star Trek "Lego" kits. Those were cool enough, but as I browsed the site I found a few sets that are more aligned with this hobby.  :-D These don't appear to be officially licensed, hence the "American Truck + sportscar of the 70s" description. Lots of other cools sets here, I think I might order a few!

Looks like the larger model cars are roughly 1/16th or 1/18th scale based on the videos where they are handling the models. The smaller ones like you see with the semis appear to be around 1/64th scale/Hot Wheels size or a tad larger.

Amazing that Leggo thinks there's a market for those things. Good to see the spirit is still alive, B4 they start retro fitting them with elect. motors.

I like how they use generic names, not cheap thought and shipping will be very expensive as well.

Not Leggo, but a knock of brand. If it is made in China.... well I know some have to buy it because they just can’t afford the real thing, but I’m done with China. If I can find it made in 1st North America or 2nd Europe then that’s what I’m buying.

I hear ya nasty. I'm in the same mind frame. Giving my $ to the local boys. (As much as I can)
amazon is missing me, cause they're now tempting me with "credits", or "points", once I make a few more purchases. Haven't done any in over a year.
