Courtesy light mounting points
« on: September 17, 2021, 01:02:39 PM »
My dash has been out of my 79 for 6 months. I cant see where the 2 lower lights mount under the dash. Getting ready to put dash back in and lost all my notes and the pics I took are too blurry.  The dash is covered with new black foam on the inside ( lots of extra)  and its possible they filled in the mounting holes. I had to cut out for the radio, brake release, lower bolt holes etc. If some one and get a picture of where these lights mount, I'd really appreciate it. I dont want to put the dash in only to have to pull it out again.

This is the best I can do:

They are installed in this series of back-of-dash photos, so that just tells you approximately.

Actually that helps tremendously. The dash people filled in the mounting holes with foam. I believe I can get it figured out from that link. thanks a bunch.
