what happened to the site/forums

Hi, i had been away for a little while, i come back and a trove of info and posts all gone? Was it a site crash?

A couple of outages, loss of backups. The site has been upgraded to run on newer versions.
Yes, we lost a lot of posts....

Yeah, i thought maybe the site owner just shut the site down.. Sad, that so much info and countless posts are gone.. Have users gone elsewhere, it almost seems that the site has slow traffic now. This was/is always my favorite site for Firebird /T/A Info and topics!

I think there was a lot of people who went elsewhere unfortunately.

It's been slow for a long time.  But all the answers to questions are gone, so we can start over on that.

It might be slow with a fairly small group of regular contributors, but the other sites don't seem that busy either.

For me TAC is still best bar far. I have received lots of great information here.

Absolutely! I haven't been posting much but then again, I haven't done a whole lot to my Firebird recently. I don't go on FB that often (or other social media sites) but what I have seen does not compare to what we have here on TAC.
