Not sure how you work around the under hood bracing though. I installed DEI under hood boom mat. You have to cut it up to fit each of the crevices between the bracing. It’s got a bit of a carbon fiber look to it.https://www.summitracing.com/parts/dei-050129

My focus wouldn't be at the underside of the hood on your car LOL .
I had thought about buying a sheet of textured abs and cut and shape it (probably just heat and bend down the center). Never followed through with it yet.[/quoteThat would be the perfect material. A used hood and a big oven. LOL
That style has been available since the car itself. It's the same as the base model hood insulation minus the shaker cutout. Many sell it, probably all same brand from Taiwan. It's not a board, more of backing panel that supports the fiberglass and cotton wadding, which is on the engine side regardless of pics used. It still gets sent out folded up into a little bag. I had to spray mine with clear flat coat to seal it as it kept dropping fluff and dust everywhere and in the air, or flip over. I thought you were after one with the logo thing.
I have one from these guys on my Turbo T-tbird. Those were originally embossed, so I really do need a logo on mine, but for $50 this is all you get.https://www.ebay.com/itm/304026854421?epid=690069381&hash=item46c969a415:g:uPkAAOSwQKJgwLu1I guess this is exactly what you don't want. I didn't order a $100 one so i can't compare. In fact I don't think collectors auto supply actually offers a T-bird one with the intercooler cut out.
