Plastic Conditioner
« on: July 24, 2021, 08:50:14 AM »
Any recommendations for a good interior plastic conditioner? I've read reviews that say good things about Aerospace 303, has anyone used it?

I've thoroughly cleaned my dash and it looks relatively good but I'm thinking it could be better with some conditioner. Plus would probably benefit from some UV protection.
Also, what happens if you use plastic conditioner on interior parts that have been SEM painted?

303 is what I use long before any others. Many don't even feature the UV protection, basically just a cleaner with some sheen, often silicon. While not aimed at painted parts I don't think it would hurt either, help clean, and add a coating that repels dust and future dirt. Like anything, you'd need to degrease and scrub if you planned on repainting the part in the future, plus more likely to have even more harmful coatings on it over the years.
