Time to post a Formula...
« on: June 20, 2021, 04:11:14 PM »
A while ago that I posted something because my Bird received some major improvements.
Today we had nice weather and I took a photo after car wash.

Thanks.
This was a new color in 1973 regatta blue (26).
Love it!

I’ve gotten a soft spot for formulas over the years. Especially the later 2nd gens. You don’t see many around or they’re T/A clones. I just think they’re cool. If I ever have the pleasure of owning another 2nd gen besides my 77 T/A I hope it’s a formy. That’s a fantastic looking car man.

Very sharp looking Formula. I don’t recall seeing this color before, it must not be very common. An early Gen II Formula is getting pretty rare,  I bet in Germany you really get a lot of attention.

Yes you are probably right. F-bodies are now very rarely to be found here, and the early models even more so.
The car is already very noticeable ...
Regatta Blue was only available in the 73 and 74.
Over the years I have seen some Formis in that color for sale but - they are rare...
