Saw this formy behind my wife and I today. My light turned and I had to pull away so I never got a better picture. Never saw this car in the area before.

Drove approximately 1,000 miles (took my parents to DE and back) but only saw 1 third gen and 1 fourth gen. Nothing special to even bother taking pics. I was kinda surprised but again you don't see many up north.

I was excited to go to the local cruise night, this past Sunday in hopes to get some from fresh bird pics, but there wasn't one in the mix. I know of a few around town but they weren't there that night.

The last time I went, I still had my Fiero and that received a lot of attention but I'm anxious to one day get Ruby there and show her off like a proud pappa!!

Thank you Kerry, I took my parents to see my dads cousins that moved to Lewes DE. I had to be with them to help with mobility issues, otherwise I would have at least reached out.

Hope the trip went well! If youre ever in the area again say Hi.
About 2 hrs south of me, we will be starting a home remodel there within the next couple of weeks. A bit congested but not really a bad place. Much quieter in the off season. My oldest brother lives there as well.

Saw this today while at the lake  talked to the guy but he wasn't too talkative.  Didn't find out what it really was, but it was a mutt.... 79 + rear that says Formula, trans am fenders, 74 Formula hood and front nose, black hobnail interior.... The dash was covered in something with a weird texture and gloss red paint.

Anyway it's nice to see them on the road.

Watching Q13 News in Seattle there was a story concerning delays in fixing cars due to lack of parts.  I about did a spit-take as two guys walked by the camera carrying a Second Gen T/A hood!  Later another guy padded past toting a 2nd Gen T/A fender

Spotted this in my buddies garage!!

1995 Trans AM, 6 speed manual, with about 86,000 kms sitting on fresh rubber!! It belongs to my buddies cousin. Interestingly enough, I thought, is it's sitting exactly where Larry parked his 79 silver trans Am that he had for years, before he sold it!!

My uncle had one similar to that. I believe his was a 96, was also red but was a WS6 so it had the ram air hood. I’m surprised the one you’re in is a hardtop. Didn’t think they made any 4th gen  T/As in hardtop. Maybe that was only for the LS1 cars.

While I’m here, crappy picture but I caught a glimpse of this 3rd gen the other day.

They made hardtops, just not sure there were a lot. My sister had a 96sh formula hardtop. She ordered it new, completely loaded, Dark green, tan leather interior, 6 speed with what I assumed was the highest performance motor available. She hated t tops. She babied the car, She bought something new and parked it in the barn. I know they had it for quite a few years when I asked here about it she said they had sold it. Been nice if she had let me know they were getting rid of it!!

That is a sharp looking 69. Paint and body look great. When I was in high school a kid was driving a new Firebird 400 convertible. It was loaded with AC and power windows, black with black interior. Don’t know where he got got the money, I’ll never forget the car.

Mike, I have been a member of TAC for something like 2 1/2 years and I am clueless as to what you once had or currently have in the way of Firebirds or other vehicles. It would make for an interesting post if you care to share?

Good Spot on the 69.  When I was a kid mom had a 67 400. I assume vedoro green. It was the lighter green colour. Thats when my love of the mighty Firebird began!!

Nobody in my family had muscle cars that I remember, as vehicles were only things used to get you around!

As for the TA I got to sit in, sadly no test drive!!

Hanging out at a local weekly show for the first time this year. It’s hot but I found some shade thankfully. Decent turnout but the heat probably kept some away. Couple birds here.

Thanks for sharing guys, some nice looking cars.

Charlie, nobody in my family had muscle cars until me. When I was about 17 I took my dad for a ride in my 67 Dodge Coronet R/T, smoking the tires and fish tailing. That was his first experience as a passenger in a muscle car. For lack of better words it was not a positive experience for him.

I know for a fact it does.  The owner had me take a look as it was spewing gas.
It was coming from the vent so the float was shot.  We have a very good shop* here that does a lot of old iron, they rebuilt it for under $200 and it runs nicely.

This car while no means quick drives very nicely - the six is verrry smooth.

My wife and I spotted this 1974 Formula while out for a Sunday ride in a small Wisconsin town about 55 miles Northwest of where we live. I believe it's a real Formula, not sure if it was a 455 like the fender badge says. Obviously a repaint but didn't look bad on the outside. The interior seats and doors were reupholstered, not to my taste. I got a big kick out of the Patsy Cline 8 track tape, I wonder if it plays? For me, this is a good find since I usually don't see very many Firebirds of any generation.

Not sure I like the stance, maybe it's the wheels but this is typical of what people did in the late 70's -80's.

CNC had a few nice ones this morning.  A 1972 HO showed up - only thing non-stock was the rims; 17x9 Honeys.

Owner said it went thru BJ and Mecum.
