I like most of it. Could do without the shaker, and eliminate the Pontiac markings, other than that it looks pretty cool. I saw a 'bandit edition' jeep the other day. All black with the gold bird and details. I have seen the jeeps cross the block at some of the tv auctions but never seen one in person.

This actually does look pretty well done.  I've also seen the bandit edition Jeeps - primarily Gladiators - in the auctions but always wondered why they didn't use the Golden Eagle that actually was in the Jeep family instead.

Indeed, still want one of those some day! If I ever decide to repaint my Avalanche, I just might do something similar. Retro paint styles for trucks do seem to be a thing these days.

Yes, some had the bird and others did not. I've not found any models or die cast kits with the Firebird scheme, though I have found a die cast 1/18th Indy Hauler. I've been looking to make a kit one and determined I'll have to scratch-build it.
