Sorry sometimes I think people can read my mind LOL of course my mainly stock 403 Oldsmobile engine still with the stock cam in it from 1979 just looking to make it maybe sound a little better and improve torque  and a little more horsepower.only other thing added to the stock motor is the number seven heads to increase compression

Spoke to Lunati this is what they recommend  . I really like the guy that helped me he explained the difference between comp and Lunati .        https://www.lunatipower.com/voodoo-hydraulic-flat-tappet-cam-lifter-kit-oldsmobile-v8-262-268.html

You will like the lunati.  that is an older Harold brookshire grind that he did.  He was Ultradyne.
What are the rest of the combos on the car ?  Are the early 350 heads on it now ?
You are at the limit of the cam before all hell breaks loose for many reasons.

Thanks for the input 403. I have owned the car for 7 years now it seemed to be all original. I added the number seven heads along with adjustable valve train very clean inside looks as though it could have had some work done in the past the car has 98000 miles on it. Big difference with the extra compression I just figured might as well do the cam also. I have it all tore down just waiting for the parts to arrive should be back together and running hopefully by the weekend

Spoke to Lunati by phone this is with there sales manager . We discuss the best cam for my application and i would order it on line sounds simple. I place the order cam lifter and chain receive conformation of the order my money was taken   . I noticed no shipping information so i email no response. Today i call to check on it the cam is on back order and they cant tell me when it will be available just that i am way down on the list. Of course i had to ask why are you selling a part that you dont have in stock and taking peoples money. The guy gets nasty with me i dont understand there parts supplier was shut down for three weeks for Covid . I wasn't calling to get another schooling about covid problems just why wouldn't you tell your customer it is on back order like on Summits Racing site . Long story short guess it wont be running this weekend no idea when it will ship and no one else has it . Do i go with  a comp cam or wait that is the question now .

I would bite the bullet and run a roller if you can find one.   It would cost you more,  but better all around.  Will need different springs.
Contact Mark Remmel at new Olds performance he is a lunati dealer (863) 206-3320
He had a couple of rollers from what i recall

Just sent him a message Thanks again 403 . Only one Thumper cam left in the country at Summit . I am going to buy it just to be safe would like to drive my car this summer . The story Lunati has is just incredible not having any raw material to work with . I noticed the same thing buying the adjustable rockers from Comp sold out everywhere . Lets hope thing will come back inline in 2022

Either of those cams will make power, you will know there is a cam in it as well.  A little higher stall would not hurt.

I was excited to have the extra compression with the #7 heads . I guess anything will be better than the stock cam . So far a very inexpensive noticeable increase in HP. Cam will be here Tues day should be running for next weekend car show i hope .

You will have problems with that cam.  Its huge on the exhaust duration 241 @.050 and at 107 lobe separation,  What will happen is you wont have much vaccum for power brakes. Brakes wont work unless you go to hydroboost or manual brakes. I bet it will be between 10-12 inches best case with so much exhaust duration.  Will will sound like it barely idles.  Before you get too far as it appears cams are hard to get....andy iis the owner of OLDSPERFORMANCE PRODUCTS.

The other place to try is john at rocket racing

I did text with Mark earlier today.  He has a couple of super expensive rollers.

Well 403 the Com Cam is in and your right not a good choice but should get me through summer. Runs good idles good has plenty of vacuum but dies out when you put it in gear if you dont feather the gas . I will get back to Mark in the fall and order the correct one .

Just got back from test drive . I will say this big improvement over stock cam left the drive way spinning tires and that never happened before . The exhaust sounds impressive that's for sure . Comp Cam shows no need for transmission converter change i think that's the problem dies when you put it in gear .

You possibly need to stomp on the pedal to keep it from stalling too, another reason it spins the wheels instead of just driving away casually with stock setup!
So which cam is this in it now? And just the head swap otherwise?

# 7 heads adjustable valve train and thumper cam  . All stock with 90 K ran smooth with original cam no issues with stalling when in gear.   I only put this cam in because of the material shortage for cam shafts everything is out of stock . If this was in a manual transmission car it would probably be fine .

You will need a decent convertor 2800-3200 and more fuel at idle.  If you run a cam bigger than around 225 duration it will need a convertor.  Brakes probably need some help.  Hydroboost is in your future.
