« on: May 02, 2021, 01:50:42 PM »
The first but most certainly won't be my last...

What are these and where do they go?

Thanks in advance!

Top one is hood cable retainer clip.

Lower is retainer for D-side dash vent. Here's a broken vent housing I had that shows the retainer.

Right on Aus! I knew I recognized the hood latch clip but couldn't place it. Nice work (answering some tricky questions).

Got another... pretty sure it links a couple of dash things to ground?

Excellent photo. And good to see where the prism goes. I need to figure out the ash tray fiber optic as well. They sure did some creative things back then.

Good pics. the other end plugs into the main cluster. It doesn't do much if you ask me.

Does anyone use the ashtray to know how good the interior is lit?

I had my ashtray replated, it's one of the pics above with leather trim. I'd imagine the bright reflecty blouncy light interior may work better than same on crusty, but again, probably won't ever know! I'm not sure if bulb or LED gauge light makes a difference, the standard LED tends not to send out light in the direction of the optic fibre end.
