Olds 403 Fan Clutch

Does anyone know what the correct part number for the correct fan clutch for the 1979 Trans Am with Olds 403 is?  I think I have a heavy duty fan clutch from somewhere on it right now but don't know if it's the right part.  My car stays right at about 180 degrees (it has a 180 degree thermostat) when driving on the highway but in town particularly when parked it can climb to nearly 220 degrees.  I'm assuming this is most likely a fan clutch issue.  The factory fan shroud is being used and the car has a brand new quality water pump, large radiator, and new thermostat.

Original GM numbers for H/D and A/C on 350/403 Olds in '77-79 were #22049774 and #22050648 .

Most currently available will list 20 numbers they are replacements for. Many come from same factory under different brands, hopefully someone can suggest a suitable one that performs well and looks original.

Thanks for your help.  I did some searching with those part numbers but haven't located a replacement yet.  As long as it performs well I'm not too concerned about if it's appearance is original.

When they work, the fan is very noisy.   Beyond that it's not much fun to determine whether you think it's bad.  Very rarely do they work in my experience.  I've replaced a few and they never really look original, the ones I've bought.

When searching for both GM numbers together, the item that comes up often is the Hayden 2747. I don't know anything about it other than that.

I run mostly stock cooling. I use the original clutch fan, a four row radiator and a 160 degree thermostat.
Unfortunately, I do not know the part numbers for the clutch and fan. If they are not original, they were put on before I got the car over 20 years ago.
It is not noisy, and the car never runs hot. Sorry I can't help.

The originals didn't have slotted bolt holes in the base, so in the looks department that's about the only part of it you'd ever look at, and it looks different.  They work though.

That's right, they are now a universal part like most GM replacement parts. If you had to pay 3x the price with no chance of return shipping if it wasn't quite right you'd also appreciate good feedback on general parts that the majority snub their nose at.

Finally got rid of that 'good' nosecone assembly that cost me around 1000 to land here 10 years ago, a local guy picked it up for free. I'd dragged it out for the clean up.
