Here is the DOT number on the glass I got from All City Looks like DOT516 for the side windows. I haven’t received the front or rear glass year but will post when I do.
Jim

Thanks!

Since no one else seems to have the 'Golden Star' brand reproduction glass I decided to do some more digging.

So I dragged my stored set out, from behind several boxes of parts and opened one up. Turns out they are the same as already mentioned above. GM Restoration parts clear sticker and etched Hugger Performance DOT 686 at base.

   Thanks Ben!

Update:

I just received both sides for the door glass from Auto City Classic.

They only had the RH for green tint and LH for the grey tint so I ordered the clear.

The curvature as measured by Gene-73........5/16"

The data sticker is similar to 737driver.

DOT 516 etched in the glass.

This is the address of the Manufacturer:

Can you tell how the thickness of the glass compares to the originals? I bought my windshield from auto city and it is a good bit thinner than original glass. My installer told me that most of the repro stuff is that way. I wondered how it compared to side glass.

The OEM that are currently in my doors and the Auto City Classic glass measures the same.........3/16"

When I ordered the green tint ACC glass it showed in stock.  They messaged me a day later and said they only had the RH side and thought the LH side would be in a week later.  They messaged me back that same day and said they were told by the manufacturer that they didn't know when the LH green tint would be available.

Same for the grey tint RH side.

I'm going to tint the windows myself so I ordered clear since it was in stock.

Just an FYI........With China having lock downs and restrictions there could be a lot of new delays in any shipments from overseas.

This should be a sticky.

Anyone have info on the Classic Industries door glass? Some popped up for sale and couldn't see any mention of them, new or same as existing.

My first attempt at replacement door glass was from Classic about 8 years back.  I thought it was junk.  Much thinner than original. The Auto City glass is much heavier/thicker.

If it had the right curve, I would take it.... One day I may attempt to polish oneof the 12 pieces of door glass that I have in my attic.  If I can get the decent I'll replace the ones in my car from NPD.... Those barely fit and bind badly.

I have an NPD LH clear glass coming after a struggle with the glass that's on my car now. I have no idea if it's currently original, but I it has no numbers of any kind on it. I did replace the regulator and several other door related parts along with moving the door itself to better align with the rear quarter. It didn't fit right before and still doesn't. I didn't closely compare the two regulators but will do it now since everything has to come apart once again.

Hoping this one will get me to a reasonable fit.

NPD says the number on their glass from the manufacturer is DD4421CL.  Likely the same overseas manufacturer as the one listed in 737driver's post.

I spoke to two associates and neither knew or would look for a DOT number.

I held the glass I have onto the weather stripping in the door opening. It touches on the top corners on both sides and doesn't in the middle. Too much curve like Gene mentions. I'll report back when the NPD glass arrives.

Aah all good, thought we may have lost another long-time member to the sensible life. Nah. I just read and comment now. Mine will never drive again.
