was looking on you tube, couldn't find anything on a constant on lite, its not flashing.security lite
car starts and runs. has been on for over a year.
any idea how to get rid of it? my OBDII wont erase it

Likely a faulty sensor in the works...did you try removing the fuse for this system?...if it has one

there is no fuse for the security lite that I could see. I looked in the manual.

hmmmmmmmmm……….

I just did a quick google search and things seem to point towards a possible issue with the key cylinder. It seems to be a fairly common issue with that generation.

Yeah...the part your key goes into. Do some more research before tearing into anything as it is just an idea and I'm not a certified mechanic.

You'll have to do a bunch of reading to learn about it!!
