1977 sway bar bolts
« on: June 21, 2020, 10:53:44 AM »
Guys I am in the process of replacing the away bar mounting points on my 1977 trans am.  I ordered some bolts from Ames as a kit since the ones on the car were part of an aftermarket sway bar mounting kit. The new ones are not correct however since they have a metric thread and head size.  Can someone show me what the correct bolt looks like?

Thanks
Doug

The bolts are boring except that they're cap head.  The real question is whether you have the nut inserts in place still.

I don't know whose car this is, but it's correct:

I have one here in my hand, and I photographed it for you.
