Air Cleaner Temp Sensor line routing...
« on: June 06, 2020, 08:51:01 AM »
Trust me, I'm just chocked full o' stupid questions, and they'll only get stupider lol.

Car is a 1979 400/4-Speed L78 w/ W72.

The temp sensor that's located inside the air cleaner (says AC on the top, usually is white plastic)... I need to know where its vacuum source line goes to. I know one of the lines coming from the sensor goes to the damper door diaphragm (round thing on the top of the air intake snorkel), but I don't know where the line for its vacuum source goes to. Is it manifold vacuum or port?

Believe it or not, mine is still operational (or the sensor at least looks new, so I'm assuming it is), so I'd like it hooked up properly. Thanks!

Since no one has bothered to reply, one end to the snorkel diaphragm, the other to a vacuum port next to where the PCV plugs in.
