Another Dash Repair
« on: May 21, 2020, 09:07:08 AM »
https://imgur.com/a/SsF5YGL  It's not done yet, but more pictures of my dash fix.  As I said in the speedo/tach thread, I owe a lot of my motivation to everybody here who posted here on this topic.  Anybody can do this.  I'll try to get finished pictures up next week, since there's not any pictures of it after paint.

More pictures of the done deal.  I couldn't figure out how to put a caption under the pictures.

Sorry for the delay.  I used Polyvance padded dash filler, Great Stuff spray foam, and JB Weld two-part epoxy and fiberglass cloth to fix the vinyl and plastic parts.  I used Bondo spot putty and regular weld-thru primer to smooth it out and covered it with SEM Texture Coat and SEM Landau Black Color Coat.  I painted the metal braces with Rust-Oleum Matte Black (Custom Shop.)

That’s great.

I’ve used JB weld (epoxy) and fiberglass mesh to fix a lot of things. Bumpers, flares spoilers etc.

Holds up well and remains flexible.
