8 track knob removal
« on: January 12, 2020, 02:17:47 PM »
I bought a console 8 track player that needs cleaning. I can’t get  knobs off, I pulled on them but won’t budge. Is there something special I need to now to get these off? Do I just need to pull harder on these things?
Thanks

Grab the outter knobs (the fake one and the one for tone) and pull off with the main knobs (volume and balance. So each set should come off their shared post together. There’s a little spring on the main knob that’s gets depressed if you pull them off together.
