You've garnered my attention once again.  I always wanted to do autocross with the '96 since it was my intention when buying it, but never got around to it and now it's just not meant to be.

Wow! That thing just looks mean. What size rims and tires? What suspension is it running (yes, I know it's yours just wondering what components).

It has the chrome rim option too. Nice. (Looks like it lines up like mine as well).

Sean has 18” Weld wheels.  It’s 315 width BFG Rival S all around on PTFB suspension.

He’s also done other crazy things on the car such as aluminum core support, ws6 brakes modified, etc.

Sean's car is really a representation of of most of us enthusiasts, has had the car since high school and has seem many mods and different power plant over the 35+ years.

It is mostly PTFB suspension, control arms, shocks, brakes, adjustable sway bars, chassis bracing, it still has different leaf springs that were de-arched and a combination of PTFB spherical bearings and Delrin shackle bushings, unfortunately the Delrin bushings and de-arching the springs are creating binding and lack of suspension travel...that will get corrected.

it's as old school as it gets for these cars, Hooker show bar, Recaro seats, Alpine stereo with EQ booster.

The wheels are Weld 18x10.5 and 18x10 with 315/30-18 tires all around.

So, It's also tubbed in the back, what was done to accommodate the 315 in front?

no tubs, stock frame, PTFB Comp leaf springs and Anti-squat brackets, the fender lip is rolled and seat belt massaged, up front PTFB control arms and high clearance adjustable sway bar, because of how low the owner set the front it has fiberglass inner fender wells and the lip is rolled.
