I need to remove my 8 track for repairs in my 74 Trans Am.  Any tips on getting it out?

I think it’s pretty straight forward. You have to essentially remove your console so it’s free to move around. The player comes out the back essentially by pulling the console out and leaving the player there.

And the front bezel comes off of the player and stays with the console. Knobs and shady nuts have to come off of course. I forgot too you probably have other brackets holding the player to the console. Mine are missing so the player just kind of sits there.
