I brought it down to Restore A Muscle Car in Lincoln Nebraska.  I have it back now almost ready to go.  You can see it in the restoration section, should be able to do a search for Y88 in title.  It has been awhile since I posted any progress.  Thanks.

So that's their horse in the pasture too?  And the barn is behind the house?  Now that's something I kind of always wanted -- a real barn instead of just a garage. 8)

I'm not real familiar with the area as I moved here just a couple years ago from NH. How far from Fargo are you guys? It would be great to get together.

Here's mine. Not much to look at right now. Got her about half way stripped down right now but ran into some rust issues that slowed things down. Then of course winter and an unheated shop don't help much. lol

Here's my thread in the Projects and Restorations board. I need to update it with some parts I recently received.

I am about 3 1/2 hours away from fargo.  I dont think that is too far away.  Looks like you got your hands full with your car.  I know when I start to tear into mine I am bound to find more issues also not something Im looking forward to but It will be all worth it in the end.

Detroit Lakes, 45 minutes from Fargo on Highway 10.
My bird is in the shop with the front clip off so i can finish the engine compartment and the engine is sitting in my garage fully rebuilt waiting on some bolt-ons and a new home.  Transmission is done and waiting on paint.

Looks Like there is more people around then I thought.  Thats cool.  I can not wait till spring comes and I can take my bird out and spread her wings again.  I just love going for a ride in it.

Maybe we can all get together once the weather warms up. I did make it to the Car Craft show down in the cities last summer. And there are a couple small shows in Fargo too.

Heres a couple pics of my son and  the TransAm.  We started work 2 1/2 years ago on his 13th birthday, these are from around the 15th birthday.  We're working on a 3.42 rear end to put in right now and hopefully will be all done by birthday # 16. When he gets his license!  These cars are a great project to do with your kid. He learned I wasnt as dumb as he thought and we both were pretty proud when the engine we built actually ran!

Hi - new to TAC but have been in 'Minne-snow-ta' for a long time.  Currently live in the western suburbs of the TC metro area.

Bought our 'anniversary' car in late October of 2004.  Drove it from Mankato directly to a storage facility.  In June of 2006 it went over to a body shop and didn't see daylight until August of 2008.  Just missed having it ready to drive to Car Craft last fall but will be there this year.

Still have the final color sand and buff to do in the spring before the rest of the graphics go on.  Also have a set of 8x15 snowflakes that will replace the originals (both sets were refinished locally).  Here's a few pics taken coming out of the shop, first local cruise-in, and shortly before the snows came last fall.  Click on each one to see a larger version.

btw - "BIGBRRD" is a '78 TA and has the 400ci with a 4 speed, Hurst t-tops and the original velour interior.  We're the 2nd owners.
