Rostra Blutooth

Folks,

I would like to add Blu Tooth capability to my 2002 Trans Am.

My GM dealer recommended the ROSTRA BluTooth device.

Does anyone have any experience with these devices, do they work well ?

If not, any other recommendations ?

I do not want to buy a new stereo, and would like to make this as unobtrusive as possible

thank you !

I don't know anything about ROSTRA, but have used devices similar to the one in the link below that work well.

Not sure how much you’re wanting to spend but this would probably accomplish what you want. I wanted it but it won’t work with pre78 common ground radios so it wouldn’t work for me.

No radio required for operation! Looks like it's a self contained unit that just needs power and speakers to operate.

For a cheaper option but a little more work to install possibly you could try this. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Kenwood-KAC-M1824BT-Compact-400-Watt-Bluetooth-Connected-4-Channel-Amp/44641023

It’s what I intend to use in conjunction with my factory radio and console 8 track once I have some line outputs added. 8 track is almost done so the radio goes next. Once they’re both done I plan to add an update to my original post.
