Tail Lights on a 77
« on: December 03, 2018, 07:41:15 PM »
I just discovered that outer two bulbs are running and brake and the 3rd (closest to the reverse light) is only a running.  Do you guys covert that to a full running and brake?

Interesting.  The manual stays but a 1157 in there but its only a two wire socket.

Thanks!

I've converted the lot, but not for those reasons, had to add flasher in different location and separate brake lights. Not as easy as swapping plugs as you found, they are single and dual filament glove holders and some need extra contact added from a spare set.

It's not really popular, but of course you could do it.  That socket is strange, you're right about that.

After you get 3 brake lights in there by golly you'll be ready for some turn signal sequencers.
