Smokey and The Bandit - Local Showing
« on: September 10, 2018, 08:03:48 AM »
I posted this over in the lobby but thought I'd add it here as well for all us mid-western folks...

About a week before Mr. Reynolds passed away, our local theater had scheduled a showing of Smokey and The Bandit as the first film in a special movie week as part of their 50th anniversary celebration. If anyone is interested in going the showing will be this Thursday at 7:30pm CST. I was already planning on going and if anyone is near the area it'd be fun to meet up! Details at the link below. The theater was originally built in 1936 but the Eslinger family has been running it since 1968, hence the 50th anniversary celebration. It's a restored, Art Deco style theater and really cool!
