Faded Stripes
« on: September 02, 2018, 12:43:27 AM »
I have had stripes on my car for just over a year and the top ones are faded into a dark brown/gold where the lower ones are still vibrant and gold. The car sat in the sun for a while and is there a way to try to get the color back or do I need to restripe my car?

There is no way of restoring the faded stripes, they need to be removed and replaced. Chris at PG was extremely helpful and had new stripes at my door in 2 or 3 days.

That was expected but disappointing that it happened so soon. So apart from only driving at night and storing in a garage what product do PG recommend for keeping the stripes in new condition?

check out our customers install of his new GMC truck retro fitted to duplicate the Indy Pace car truck. The truck matches his Indy Pace car so it makes quite a beautiful statement heading down the road.

That looks really sharp. All I can see is the hood bird though. I would like to see the complete setup.

Back to the topic, what was the reason for the fast fading decals?
