Left side blinkers not blinking?
« on: July 13, 2018, 06:42:47 PM »
I've have intermittent issue with this problem before for a couple of years. I would switch for left turn and all the left side lights would freeze on but not blink. The green indicator arrow on the inside would just stay green and not blink.  Apparently the problem has gotten worst. Now the inside blinker arrow does not even turn green. The rear left light is On but not blinking. The front left side marker and front left parking lamp do not turn On.  The Right side works fine.  Where do I start?  Thanks Guys!

Counting the inside indicator, there are 3 bulbs that should have come on, so I am suspecting the switch.  They are pretty reliable but of course the car is 40 years old.

You should probably probe that circuit with a test light but it's in a bad spot to get to where it comes out of the steering column.

Thanks! I will investigate the turn signal switch.  Any brand that you recommend? If I have to replace the part.
