Dash covers
« on: June 10, 2018, 10:07:25 AM »
Just got a new dash cover installed form FB Central, overall quality and fit was good. Some things to be aware of : it makes your dash slightly wider and thicker. I had trouble getting the A pillar trim to fit without a little grinding, also be prepared for the grab handle not to fit right, the tabs end up being a little short and it took a little trimming around the glovebox area.
For the money it is a decent looking alternative to a brand new dash.

I've no experience with the trans am dash but I installed 2, both on 69 gto's and they are an excellent option. trimming with a Dremel is required here and there but the fit was great and couldn't tell it was there unless you were aware of it. installing yourself just be sure and use minimum silicone adhesive. just enough to hold it. expansion and contraction with the temp will warp and crack it if you use to much.
