How about The Sting with Paul Newman and Robert Redford? I've watched that several times and love it each time. Seems Like Old Times with Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn? The original Flight of the Phoenix with Jimmy Stewart too.

"Lifeboat", directed by Hitchcock is another very good movie. Its a great character study.

I think it was during "Lifeboat" and it was Mary Anderson who asked Hitchcock "Which is my best side" and he said "you're sitting on it, my dear."

Hitchcock's cameo in "Lifeboat", advertising for the weight loss product "Reduco" was also his cameo in "Rope", where it's a neon sign

I'm a sucker for old comedies too. How about Blazing Saddles, Men In Tights? Vertigo by Hitchcock?

I love all the Mel Brooks movies, and have seen most of Hitchcocks, Vertigo is not high on my list though. Watched Saboteur last night, that ones pretty good.

2 great old movies are  The Great Race with Jack Lemmon, Natalie Wood Tony Curtis and the "Leslie Special". Another great movie is  Those Magnificent Men and Their Flying Machines. Both filmed in 1965. Enjoyed them both.

The Great Race is a fantastic movie. Not sure i have see the 'flying machines'. My son and I watch Nosferatu every couple of months. Even without modern gore, blood and guts, I think its one of the scariest movies I have seen. We love the original Universal horror classics as well, Frankenstein, Wolfman, and especially Dracula.

The producers of Nosfetatu were not able to get permission from Bram Stokers family to produce the film.  Hence the name change for movie and character "Orlok"

I like that pic. I have a Chihuahua which sometimes her nails get a bit too long. My son has nicknamed her "Nosferatu".

The cars used in the great race are existing and they're in Stahl's automotive foundation.  They are only open like 1 day a week so I am going to have plan ahead to see the museum.  They have nice stuff, not just those stupid cars.

I tried but cant get on board with the Godzilla movies. Agree that theyre like a trainwreck though. We enjoy watching Svengoolie on Saturday nights, most of the movies are pretty corny but its good clean fun!

Funny you mention Svengoolie.  I watch it sometimes and the B-movies can be pretty entertaining.  I'm not a fan of the Japanese monster movies like Godzilla, Mothra, etc. either.
