My 1970 TA restore
« on: February 13, 2017, 12:07:30 AM »
Here is my 70 TA. Was a rusty mess when I got it. The shaker was permatexed to the hood. that should give you an idea of what I had to deal with. Has new roof, quarters, wheelwells, trunk pan, floor pan, one front fender, one door skin, new rockers, complete wiring harness. upper cowl. Reworked the ram air iii motor and a magnaflow exhaust. Bout 95 percent done.

There is my 61 vette in the background

ditched the non stock carb. ran awful and took half a day to warm up. went with fitech efi. had it installed last week and half only driven it for a couple of minutes but seems to run really well. here is a short vid:

Nice.   Might be my favorite car.  Wish I had a blue one too.
So how does the air cleaner fit with the FI?
