Checking in from Cherry Point
« on: September 22, 2016, 06:05:52 PM »
Howdy,

I'm getting settled into my temporary apartment here in Newport, NC, and figured I'd reach out and see if there's any coastal NC action on the forums. I just hauled the '73 and most of the stuff to finish reassembly up from South Texas to my new duty station here. I've already seen a couple of nice 2nd Gens parked around base, so I know there has to be some sort of scene around here. I'll be in town for the next 4 years or so, and I'm really hoping to get the bird back on the road well before then.

The old bird in her current state of (dis)assembly:

'73 Formula 350
'88 Trans Am GTA L98
'86 Suburban C20 454/NV4500

Hey man,
welcome to TAC and Cherry Point. Looks like you have a nice formula on your hands. I've been away from TAC for years and just started coming back. I have a  79 that's been frame off restored that mostly sits in my garage now. Anyway, I just saw your thread and I know it's old, but welcome!

Welcome to TAC!  That is a great looking bird you've started there!
