Added another bird to my flock
« on: February 02, 2016, 03:12:47 PM »
Just picked up another project to add to my collection.  Seems like driving from Louisiana to Texas is getting kinda regular.

Has a lot of potential.  1989 Formula 350 with the tpi 350, auto, 9 bolt rear, etc etc you expect with the Formula 350.  The engine is rattling, so I got it for a steal of a deal.  Can't tell yet if it is a bottom end or top end noise.  Guy even left the JVC sound system in it.

My oldest son may end up driving this as his first car back and forth to high school and a part time job instead of my 78 Formula if I can get the motor issue resolved.  His older sister is still happy driving all over town in the 78 Skybird I finally finished for her.

Thanks, guys.  So far I've been able to get all three teenagers to turn wrenches with their ol' man and drag them out to the wrecking yards on occasion.  I want to encourage them to be both independent(work on their own vehicles) and educated(be able to get a good job to afford to pay someone else to fix it when they can't or don't have time.)
