T/A Thing #2
« on: March 17, 2014, 08:44:43 AM »
 This is thing #2  Thing #1 is on hold and not posted yet. Both are shells with axle under them.  #2 is a unfinished project I got from a guy that bought it for sheet metal parts. I traded usable pars from already cut up rust outs for this re-buildable shell. Ya anything is re-buildable with enough $.  I got it cheap enough to build with parts I have.
 So here it is on the home made car flipper ready to get 1/2 frame rail replaced.
Car flipper thread--->http://transamcountry.com/community/index.php?topic=63183.0

What a learning experience!  :!:
Used rear bumper already on car, and left dash and brakes on shell.
 First try I realized all bolts where only finger tight!
Second realized I made horizontal center line to low at 22 inches.
Used a jack to start it and at 1/2 way it was balanced. Then realized tool chest was in way and had to scoot car 6 inches.  Then chained it to the rafters for safety and nailed support boards on base.

The bottom needs a little more work on pin holes then it will be solid. Not building a show car.  Another nice driver for Me!

Awesome stuff Mark! I found the same problem on mine with spring pockets.
