Tonight is the season premier and on "Fast and Loud"s Facebook page they are indicating that there is going to be a Firebird appearance. In the picture it appears to be a 2nd gen. Smile

They bought a 1977/78 T/A in the first season and decided to keep it instead of selling it. Makes me wonder if they decided to fix it up and sell it off.

I think the "ugly as hell" remark is directed to the overall condition of the vehicle...almost looks like it had been buried underground for awhile and then excavated! Shocked

Yeah I had seen a show where he bought a 78 Fairmont for 3500 Shocked and tried flipping it by putting chrome all over the car and new rims. I dont think this guy is a car guy, like his upholstery lady says call them A$$ monkey not gas monkey

If you buy the bird for $4300, spend $200 on the tune and sell it for $5500, how is it $1900 profit?  Razz

I looked at that same car in 2007 ,I found it on craigslist for $4500 . It was all original but had alot of rust and the hood is warped real bad from the hinge spring. But the motor and tranny were real strong. Funny part is that was the same owner I dealt with as the one on tv ,I guess he never sold it.Hope it gets built right.

You gutta feel for him, tho, pertaining to the mustang incident. Know some-one around here that went thru the same thing. unless the wreck was all staged(?). Didn't appear to be. Mad

Mustang was a bad deal but totaled, I don't think so. He offered the car for free because it was now junk but drove it back to the shop. Someone take him up on his offer before they fix it and sell it anyway.

I like the show.  So what they get a few details wrong, nobody is perfect.  I'm sure they get details wrong on all the cars they get their hands on.  I watch because it looks like they have fun with what they do and some of their builds are pretty cool.

'Stang got hit by some A-hole with no insurance....car was supposedly "totaled" although they drove it away. I agree with the previous posters....they paid WAY TOO MUCH for both those cars.......but then they tend to overpay for most everything they buy.....and they tend to lose their asses alot to on the auction resales.
